Compatibility basis & commissioning checklist
Rules reviewed September 26, 2026. Based on LVD v10, COM3000/VSBB deployments, the LinkPi pilot and current manufacturer guidance. Pilot evidence does not certify another model or release.
- Confirm exact hardware, firmware, input/output formats and content protection.
- Configure IGMP snooping with a reachable querier on each multicast VLAN; verify multicast routing if crossing VLANs.
- Apply end-to-end QoS, verify PTP clocking for network audio and follow Q-SYS switch requirements.
- Test source tuning, receiver route readback, physical playback, lip-sync, volume/mute and speaker protection.
- Verify simultaneous full load, schedules, startup/shutdown and power/network/internet recovery.
- Use separate authorized identities for Q-SYS and LVD controllers; verify site activation and shared configuration.
